WOW Air ehf Proposed Class Action Discontinued (claims against SATA to Continue)

On or about March 29, 2019, WOW Air ehf has declared bankruptcy before the Icelandic courts.

On May 10, 2019, the Federal Court of Canada approved the application to discontinue the proposed class action against WOW Air ehf for monetary compensation under EU 261/2004. The proposed class action consisted of individuals anywhere in the world who, since August 14, 2012, have travelled on a WOW Air flight to/from Canada and experienced a delay of three
hours or more.

This discontinuance means that the class action will no longer proceed. As such, class members should proceed with any claims on an individual basis. Below we attach a copy of the
information for WOW Air ehf’s bankruptcy administrator who has set a deadline of August 3, 2019 for submitting a formal claim (https://wowair.com/).

Please note that this does not affect the claims against SATA and that portion of the class action will continue as scheduled.
